Responsive and tailored support for schools at individual, group and whole school levels. Katie works creatively to problem-solve and collaborate with children, staff and parents/carers. Support packages range from one-off assessments to yearly contracts with a service level agreement.

Comprehensive psychological assessment to help identify special educational needs and provide advice on how best to support your child/young person in school. Katie can support with a range of needs from literacy to autism to anxiety, including identification of needs to support an EHCP request.

Supporting Educational Psychology Services to meet requirements for psychological advice for EHCP assessments. Katie currently works with schools and LAs across Manchester, Trafford, Stockport and Cheshire.

About

Katie is an experienced educational psychologist with over 20 years experience of working with children and young people with a range of additional needs. Katie is based in Stockport, covering the whole of Greater Manchester and Cheshire and occasionally travelling further if required. Katie has worked within and with several local authority educational psychology services, undertaking a broad range of work from individual assessment to whole school training and research. Katie enjoys working closely with school staff and parents to understand and problem-solve with a focus on collaboration, respect and kindness. Katie believes that all children have the right to thrive in school, deserve to be understood and can be supported to meet their potential. She enjoys helping others to understand children and young people’s needs using thorough and comprehensive assessment and consultation.

Katie is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). HCPC Number PYL31411.
